Before the genesis of The C30 Journal, we, unsurprisingly, noticed a void in the editorial ecosystem. In an era of micro-interactions, and content created to appease eight-second attention spans, we have chosen to return to the slower, more deliberate roots of the essay. Our focus is not on the temporary. We have no desire to opine on the technical specifications of the latest handhelds, nor the digital fad in its fifteen minutes of fame. Instead, we concern ourselves with the high-level principles that endure long after the hype has dissipated.

The Journal exists to provide headquarters for unadulterated thought on the systems and ideas that shape our time, and reëxamine them through a discerning lens. Because we prioritize precision over velocity, we publish our articles on a twice-weekly cadence, dictated by the requirements of reflection, rather than the demands of an algorithm. Our pages are reserved for philosophical debates, social commentary, and strategic inquiries that challenge the status quo.

However, because a journal that takes itself too seriously is pedantic, we, occasionally, pause to poke fun at our own convictions. You will find, scattered among the deeper reads, shorter, satirical pieces designed to remind us that while the work is serious, we needn't always be.
